GIM seems appropriate in my clinical work where much of the focus is on mindfulness, centering, grounding, and regulating the body. All of these qualities are present in the GIM method. The literature reflects the artful approach to using the music and musical elements to assist in grounding the clients and giving them the power to initiate change as suggested by the notion of "mindsight".

Key words that inspired me:

    - insight
    - empowerment
    - multidimensional
    - integration
    - wholeness
    - unity
    - whole person
